After over twenty years, the National Museum in Warsaw has returned to its flagship publication: we are tremendously proud to present the first issue of our academic journal, whose attractive new layout was designed by Janusz Górski. The Journal not only features beautifully illustrated articles on works of art held at the museum (and elsewhere), but also texts covering the most important events, such as permanent galleries newly re-opened in the museum’s Jubilee Year or temporary exhibitions. We especially recommend the section devoted to Netherlandish art of the 16th – 18th centuries entitled Neerlandica.
