Rodzina Beyerów na zawsze związała się z Warszawą. Tu prowadziła swoją szkołę Henryka Beyer, pierwsza artystka, dla której sztuka stała się zawodem. Z Warszawą związał się też jej syn Karol Beyer, społecznik i patriota, właściciel słynnego zakładu fotograficznego.
