Beside papers themed around the history of the Museum and its collections, it features a set of texts discussing old art: Matthias Weniger’s (Bayerisches Nationalmuseum, Munich) on medieval Pietàs, Stephan Kemperdick’s (Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, Gemäldegalerie) on a 15th-century panel painting with the Holy Trinity as well as Nicola Spinosa’s (Museo di Capodimonte, Naples) on Neapolitan Baroque paintings.
