This conference aims to explore what the unique contribution of studying foreign coins is to our understanding of economic, social and cultural history of India. In times of global pandemic not only borders and universities are closed but also a space to debate is limited. Therefore, in order to get together the scholars from various parts of the globe the event will be held online. We consider it as an occasion and a platform for the researchers to explore and discuss new perspectives in the study of finds of foreign coins from India.
